1. Ring measurement is very accurate, a woman normally has somewhere between 15 - 18 mm. A man somewhere between 17 - 21 mm. Circumference and diameter? What many people do not think about is that the size of the hands changes from time to time. Women have their monthly cycles which can affect hand size.

2. We recommend not measuring ring size when it is cold, as the fingers may shrink slightly. Instead, we recommend that you always measure ring size in the evening, when the finger is at its largest.

3. Take a caliper/ruler measure the inner diameter of a suitable ring. Enter the measurement in millimeters.

4. The next best solution: If you don't have a ring, put a piece of paper around your finger, set a line and measure the circumference in mm.

5. Keep in mind that a wide ring fits more around your finger than a narrow ring does. Therefore, if the ring you want to order is wider than the one you measure with, you may need to go up in size.
